Jamie Moskowitz honors Pelham winter sports achievements with recognition ceremony

During the recent Pelham Public Schools meeting, the spotlight was on the achievements of winter sports teams, highlighting their dedication and success throughout the season. Jamie Moskowitz, who presented the superintendent's recognition, emphasized the impressive performances of various teams and individual athletes, showcasing the community's commitment to fostering athletic excellence.

The girls basketball team was celebrated for its remarkable season, which included a historic run to the county center for the second consecutive year and a finish as section finalists. Key players recognized included freshman Valdena Arrakis, all-conference recipients Colleen Sheehy and Emma Namba, and captain Taylor Green, who earned all-section honors.
