Menomonee Falls approves multiple alcohol license applications for events and venues

The Menomonee Falls Village Board made significant strides in local business support during their recent meeting on April 7, 2025, approving a series of applications that will enhance community events and retail opportunities.

Key among the decisions was the approval of a full-service retail sales application from Hopyard Ale Works LLC for their location at North 88 West 16521 Main Street. This move is expected to boost local commerce and provide residents with more dining and entertainment options.

Additionally, the board greenlit several permits for upcoming events, including an unenclosed premise permit for the Knights of Columbus for the Memorial Fest at Millpond Park on May 24. This event will also feature a temporary class B fermented malt beverage license, ensuring that attendees can enjoy refreshments during the festivities. Notably, there were no police concerns raised regarding these applications, indicating a smooth path forward for the events.

Other approvals included a successor agent application for MegaMarts LLC at Metro Market number 892 and an expansion permit for Wanaque Golf Course, which will enhance their facilities for the 2024-2025 licensing period.

Trustee Stuhlung motioned to approve the consent agenda, which included all these items, and the motion passed unanimously, reflecting strong support from the board for local businesses and community events.
