Pacific Grove High School celebrates VAPA Week with performances and student activities

The Pacific Grove Unified School District (PGUSD) Board Meeting on April 4, 2025, highlighted several key events and initiatives, particularly focusing on the ongoing Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) Week at Pacific Grove High School. Trustee comments reflected on the recent ethnic studies information night, which provided incoming ninth-grade families with insights into the new curriculum set to launch next year. Superintendent Dr. Adamson reported on recent community engagement events, including a successful TK and kindergarten parent night and an LCAP input session, both of which received positive attendance and feedback. The board also recognized the achievements of students, including Anthony Garcia Trinidad, who will receive the Every Student Succeeds Award.

The meeting concluded with a reminder of the upcoming spring break, encouraging families to take time to relax and recharge before the final stretch of the school year.
