UAH reports record student enrollment and academic achievements in 2024

The University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) is poised for continued growth and success, as highlighted in the recent Board of Trustees meeting held on April 4, 2025. With an enrollment of 8,564 students, including over 1,200 freshmen, UAH has seen a notable increase in student numbers, particularly from Tennessee, where freshman enrollment rose by 8.5% compared to the previous year. This growth is attributed to UAH's reputation as one of Alabama's best value universities, with incoming students averaging a high school GPA of 3.9 and an ACT score of 26.

The meeting showcased UAH's impressive achievements in research and student initiatives.
