Rockford Schools Board approves 2025-26 school calendar and $2M technology upgrade

The district plans to replace and upgrade laptops and desktops for students and staff, a process that occurs approximately every five years. Chris Muser from Communications by Design presented the bid summary, revealing that CDWG was selected as the vendor for the project, offering a competitive bid of $2,062,861.20. This upgrade aims to enhance student engagement and modernize the district's infrastructure, with funding sourced from the proceeds of a 2019 bond.
