Birmingham City Council is gearing up for a series of community-focused events aimed at enhancing neighborhood engagement and environmental stewardship. During the regular meeting on April 1, 2025, council members announced plans for Earth Day celebrations and neighborhood clean-up initiatives.

The council will host an Earth Day event on April 22 at 6 PM at the library, following a successful previous gathering. This initiative aims to foster community involvement in environmental issues.
