Delhi Township is gearing up for a series of community events aimed at bringing residents together and enhancing local engagement. The highly anticipated Community Easter Egg Hunt, sponsored by the Delhi Skirt Game, will take place on Saturday, April 12, starting at 9:30 AM at Delhi Park's main stage area. Children will be divided into two age groups: 5 and under, and 6 through 12. Families can also enjoy photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny and view police and fire vehicles on display.
Following the Easter festivities, residents are encouraged to participate in Delhi Cleanup Day on Saturday, May 10, from 9 AM to 1 PM at the Delhi Senior and Community Center on Kneeb Road. This free event is exclusive to Delhi residents, who must provide proof of residency and arrive by 1 PM to participate. Residents are reminded that certain items, including yard waste and hazardous materials, will not be accepted. For a complete list of acceptable items, residents can visit the township's website or contact Dan Ryan at (513) 451-3300.
Additionally, the Delhi summer concert series is set to kick off at the Delhi Park Pavilion, featuring a lineup of local talent. Concerts will be held at 7 PM on select dates, including performances by The Whammies on June 4, Cincinnati Transit Authority on June 18, and The Eagles Project on July 23, among others. Food and drinks will be available for purchase, but attendees are advised not to bring coolers.
The Delhi Event Center at Delhi Town Square will also host a variety of activities and programs for all ages, including arts and crafts, cooking classes, and social gatherings. Upcoming events include the Perfect Day Wedding Showcase on Sunday, March 30, from 1 PM to 4 PM, where couples can explore wedding trends and meet vendors.
Residents are encouraged to stay informed about these events and more by visiting the Delhi Event Center website and the township administration website. These initiatives reflect Delhi Township's commitment to fostering community spirit and providing engaging activities for its residents.
