Chipotle plans May opening in Northampton following license approval

The Northampton License Commission meeting on March 19, 2025, focused on two significant applications: a new common victual license for Chipotle Mexican Grill and a change of doing business as (DBA) for ZenFrog LLC.

David Leland, the real estate manager for Chipotle, presented the application for a new common victual license for the restaurant, which is set to open in Northampton in early May. Leland expressed excitement about joining the community and highlighted the restaurant's commitment to fresh food preparation. The commission unanimously approved the application, signaling a positive step for the popular chain's expansion into the area.

Following this, Emma Basil represented ZenFrog LLC, seeking approval for a change of DBA to SIP 413. The commissioners noted the straightforward nature of the request, with one member sharing their enjoyment of the café. The commission also approved this application without any objections.

The meeting concluded with both businesses receiving the necessary approvals to operate, marking a significant development for local dining options in Northampton.
