Starbucks honors teamwork among local school food service staff

During the December 16, 2024 Board of Education meeting for Green Local Schools, a spotlight was shone on the district's food service teams, with a special recognition event held at Starbucks on Masson Road. The initiative celebrated teamwork among staff, awarding red aprons to individuals who exemplified outstanding collaboration.

Bethany from the high school, Rose from the middle school, Pam from the intermediate school, and Lisa from Green Primary School were all honored for their contributions. Additionally, the Green High PBIS staff members received accolades, with Mister Jester and Coach Mitch Spotelson being recognized by popular vote at Starbucks.

This celebration not only highlights the importance of teamwork within the school district but also fosters a sense of community and appreciation among staff members. The recognition of these individuals serves as a reminder of the vital role that food service teams play in supporting students and creating a positive school environment.
