Washington's Career Bridge is set to undergo a significant transformation this June, promising enhanced accessibility and user experience for students and job seekers across the state. Originally launched in February 2009, Career Bridge has served as a vital public-facing career and education portal, providing comprehensive information on over 6,500 postsecondary programs, including community colleges, private career schools, and registered apprenticeships.
The upcoming update aims to modernize the platform, which has remained largely unchanged for 15 years. The new site will feature a mobile-friendly design, a digital portfolio for users to save their career searches, and an improved career quiz that allows individuals to explore their interests and talents in relation to potential careers. This modernization is expected to significantly increase user engagement, building on the existing 6 million annual page views.
