Henderson County Schools is launching an innovative leadership program aimed at empowering local high school juniors from Scotts Hill and Lexington High Schools. The initiative, which consists of nine monthly sessions throughout the school year, is designed to cultivate civic responsibility and leadership skills among students. Upon completion, participants will earn a civics credit and a special recognition for graduation.

The program's mission is to develop informed and committed citizens who can contribute positively to their community. By partnering with local government, businesses, and nonprofit organizations, students will have the opportunity to connect with mentors and engage in hands-on learning experiences.
