Tempe Union High School District honors indigenous lands and celebrates student art achievements

The Tempe Union High School District (TUHSD) Governing Board meeting on December 11, 2024, highlighted significant achievements in the arts and recognized key individuals for their contributions to the community.

One of the most impactful moments came with a land acknowledgment, recognizing the ancestral lands of the Yakima Odum, Pima, and Pee Posh Maricopa indigenous peoples.
