Hornblower Early Childhood Center honors Madison Vergara as Educator of the Year

The Belleville Public School District celebrated outstanding educators at the recent Board of Education meeting, highlighting the exceptional contributions of two key figures from the Hornblower Early Childhood Center.

Madison Vergara, recognized as the 2024-2025 Governor Educator of the Year, was praised for her remarkable talent and dedication in just her fourth year of teaching. Colleagues described her as a nurturing presence who fosters a warm classroom environment, engages students with creative lessons, and provides tailored support to meet individual needs. Her positive attitude and commitment to teamwork have made her a beloved member of the Hornblower family.

In addition, Joe Trabuco, known affectionately as "Mr. Joe," was honored as the Educational Service Professional of the Year. His role as a security guard goes beyond safety; he is a source of joy and support for students, staff, and parents alike. His playful spirit was showcased when he dressed as the Cat in the Hat and a leprechaun, bringing smiles to the school community.
