The Williams County Park Board celebrated a successful family fishing event last month, attracting over 120 participants, primarily children aged eight and under. The event, which took place in favorable weather conditions, saw a strong turnout of families, with many parents and older siblings joining the younger anglers on the ice.

The board extended the event's hours this year, running from 10 AM to 4 PM, a significant increase from the previous schedule of 10 AM to 2 PM. This change proved effective, as early registrations indicated a high level of interest, with 60 kids signed up by the start time.
