School Board appoints new directors and celebrates student art contest winners

The Ouachita Parish School Board meeting on March 11, 2025, highlighted significant personnel changes and celebrated student achievements, marking a pivotal moment for the district.

Connor Reitzel, a fifth grader from Sterlington Elementary, took first place with his artwork "New Orleans." Their works will be displayed at the Governor's Mansion and the LSBA office, showcasing the district's commitment to fostering creativity among students.
