Coach Ally celebrates championship team and introduces rising stars

The NAFCS School Board meeting on March 10, 2025, showcased the impressive growth and achievements of the local girls' sports teams, particularly highlighting the success of the girls' soccer team. Coach Ally, who has led the team for two years, proudly announced that the team has expanded to over 30 players, marking a significant increase in participation.

During the meeting, Coach Ally introduced several standout players, emphasizing their hard work and dedication. Notably, the team clinched the championship title against Highland Hills last fall, a testament to their commitment and skill. Among the players introduced were eighth graders Addie and Bentley, both of whom had their first year with the team, and seventh grader Laney, who excels in multiple sports.

Fifth graders Journey and Olivia were also recognized for their contributions, with Journey stepping up as a key player despite being new to the team. Coach Ally expressed pride in their development and teamwork, highlighting the positive environment fostered within the squad.

The meeting underscored the importance of youth sports in building community and encouraging teamwork among students. As the team looks forward to the upcoming season, the enthusiasm and support from the school board and community members are expected to continue driving their success.
