City Commission approves zoning amendment from commercial to residential

The Norwalk Planning & Zoning Commission made a significant decision during their meeting on March 10, 2025, approving a zoning amendment that will transform a portion of 818 And A Half North Avenue from commercial to residential use. This change reflects a long-standing vision that never materialized into actual commercial business in the area, which has remained zoned for commercial purposes despite never being utilized as such.
