During the recent City of Reno Planning Commission meeting on March 5, 2025, In-N-Out Burger's proposal for a third location in the Reno market took center stage. Development manager Peter Kolmaticki presented the company's vision, emphasizing its commitment to quality, community, and economic growth.

Kolmaticki began by expressing gratitude to city staff for their support throughout the development review process. He highlighted In-N-Out's rich history, founded in 1948, and its evolution into a family-owned business with over 400 locations across eight states. The company prides itself on maintaining high standards for food quality and customer service, with a mission statement that underscores its dedication to fresh ingredients and a positive work environment.

The proposed Reno location is expected to create approximately 45 jobs, along with additional positions in maintenance and landscaping. Kolmaticki noted that In-N-Out's operations would not only provide competitive wages and benefits but also stimulate local economic activity, benefiting nearby businesses and contributing to public services and infrastructure improvements.

In-N-Out Burger also emphasizes its role as a community partner, actively supporting local organizations and initiatives. Kolmaticki shared that the company has contributed around $75,000 to various causes in the Reno area from 2022 to 2025, including support for youth programs and legal aid services.
