Cedar Hills School honors Pam Gray for 20 years of dedicated service

The Montville Township Board of Education convened on March 4, 2025, to discuss various agenda items, including a kindness initiative and personnel changes within the district.

The meeting began with a highlight of a kindness initiative at William Mason School, led by school counselor Miss Gorgia. The initiative encouraged students to complete a hundred acts of kindness throughout February, which included writing notes of appreciation to staff members, including the superintendent. Following this discussion, the board moved on to consent resolutions labeled I to N. A motion was made and seconded to approve these resolutions, which were subsequently voted on. All members present voted in favor, indicating unanimous support for the resolutions.

Among the resolutions, Section L drew particular attention as it announced the retirement of Pam Gray, a kindergarten paraprofessional at Cedar Hills School. With nearly 20 years of service, Gray was recognized for her dedication and compassion in supporting young learners. Board members acknowledged her invaluable contributions to the school community, noting her lasting impact on students, teachers, and families alike.
