Construction progresses on Skyline Commons with pool and academic spaces nearing completion

The construction progress at Skyline High School is rapidly advancing, with significant developments reported during the March 4, 2025, Board of Education Administrative Session. The main entrance is nearing completion, showcasing a more finished appearance as the marquee and sidewalks are installed.

The pool area has been filled, although it faced some challenges due to unexpected nocturnal activities. However, the overall site is bustling with activity, as various elements come together. The installation of bench seating and toilet partitions is underway, while the acoustic ceiling is being added in the study hall area, enhancing the learning environment.

Notably, specialized educational equipment, including kilns for the Career and Technical Education (CTE) program, is being integrated into the facility. The CTE area, one of the last sections to be completed, is taking shape alongside the academic spaces, particularly in the Fourth Wing, which is close to being sealed off for furniture installation.

Excitement is building around the installation of the elevator cabs, with the third cab currently being added, complementing the first two already in place. As construction progresses, the Skyline High School project is on track to deliver a modern and functional educational space for students.
