In sports, the spotlight shone on standout athlete Alicia Osegueta, who signed with SFU and is celebrated for scoring 100 goals, ranking her first in California and fifth in the U.S. The winter sports senior nights are underway, with baseball games scheduled against Yuba City and playoffs for boys and girls soccer.
At 12 Bridges, girls soccer clinched first place in their league and is now headed to playoffs, while boys basketball celebrated their senior night after finishing third in the league. Wrestling achievements were highlighted with Aiden Solovellka and Ryan Perez advancing to masters, alongside Lauren Kinkas, the Northern Regional Champion.
The arts community also celebrated as Elliot Whitley and Christian Wharton had their photographs selected for display in Sacramento's Art Gallery. Additionally, 19 students are preparing for the SDN National Convention in Tampa, Florida, later this month.
