Ivory Street Cooking School opens fourth location in Lake Grove New York

In the heart of Mineola, Nassau County, a new culinary venture is stirring excitement among local residents. During a recent public hearing, Victor McNulty, owner of the Cook Studio, presented plans for a recreational cooking school set to open in the Morgan Park Building. With a focus on fun and engaging cooking experiences, the studio aims to offer a unique addition to the community.

McNulty detailed the studio's operations, emphasizing its low-impact nature. The facility will host a maximum of 24 participants per class, with seven classes scheduled each week. Classes, which last two hours, are designed for adults seeking a fun night out, featuring themes like pasta and pizza making. Notably, the studio will not cater to children or host pop-up events, ensuring a focused and enjoyable environment for its guests.

Operating primarily in the evenings, the Cook Studio will be open six to seven days a week, with classes typically running from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM. Weekend sessions may start as early as 11:30 AM. Each class will be staffed by three professionals, who will prepare the space and guide participants through the cooking process.

The experience is designed to be interactive, with participants watching a chef's demonstration before diving into their own cooking stations. McNulty highlighted that all cooking will be done using induction equipment, eliminating open flames for safety. Guests will enjoy their creations at the end of each session, with leftovers packed to take home.

In an exciting addition, the Cook Studio plans to apply for a liquor license, allowing the serving of beer and wine during classes. McNulty noted that the focus will remain on providing a relaxed atmosphere, with guests typically enjoying just one drink during their time at the studio.

With three existing locations in Hicksville, Amityville, and Huntington, the Cook Studio's Mineola branch marks an expansion of McNulty's culinary vision. As the community anticipates the opening, the Cook Studio promises to be a delightful destination for food enthusiasts looking to enhance their cooking skills while enjoying a social experience.
