During a recent Mississippi Senate meeting, local leaders highlighted the program's positive impact on students, particularly in the wake of tragic incidents involving youth suicide.

The Hope Squad, a peer-to-peer counseling initiative, empowers selected students to support their classmates facing mental health challenges. These counselors are chosen not for popularity but for their character and ability to connect with their peers.
