Out of 100 teacher responses, 75 reported that their work-life balance had improved significantly, while 21 noted an improvement. This feedback underscores the potential benefits of the four-day schedule not only for students but also for educators, fostering a more sustainable work environment.
Following the survey discussion, the board moved into an executive session to address confidential matters before reconvening to discuss the consent agenda. The consent agenda was approved unanimously, reflecting a collaborative approach among board members.
The meeting concluded with a proposal for the 2025-2026 academic school calendar, presented by Mr. Gatewood. The rationale behind the proposed calendar was shared with board members, setting the stage for further discussion and eventual approval in upcoming meetings.
