The City of Carlsbad's Arts Commission meeting on February 6, 2025, unveiled an exciting new exhibit titled "Silent Storytellers," featuring the work of local artist Frederick Hope. This solo exhibit will run from February 7 through June 28 at the William D. Cannon Gallery, with an opening reception scheduled for February 22 from 3 to 6 PM.

Frederick Hope, a California native and skilled painter, has dedicated over a decade to exploring themes of time and connection through his art, particularly inspired by the California coast. His work includes traditional landscapes and innovative representations of coastal artifacts, such as shells and stones, which serve as visual meditations on our relationship with nature.
