West Palm Beach launches Collection Connection art initiative with Mandel Public Library

The City of West Palm Beach is set to launch an exciting initiative called the Collection Connection, aimed at enhancing community engagement with public art. This year-long program will kick off on Tuesday, February 12, at the Urban Living Room, where residents can learn how to participate and explore the vibrant art scene throughout the city.

The Collection Connection encourages residents to discover and interact with various art pieces scattered across West Palm Beach. As part of the initiative, the public art committee has selected five local artists to create new works in public spaces, fostering a connection between the community and the arts. This initiative not only supports emerging artists but also aims to make art more accessible to everyone.

In addition to the Collection Connection, the city is also focusing on several new developments that will feature public art. Notable projects include the Forte Residences, which will showcase works by three prominent women artists, and ongoing collaborations with the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) to enhance public spaces across the city.
