The Owasso Planning Commission has taken a significant step forward in residential development by approving a combined preliminary and final plat for the Presley Hollow subdivision during their meeting on January 14, 2025. This approval paves the way for the construction of 140 new residential lots across five blocks on a 39.56-acre site located northeast of the intersection of 76th Street and 145th East Avenue.
The property, which is currently zoned for residential single-family use, was annexed into the city limits in May 2016. The commission had previously approved a preliminary plat for this area in August 2023, but due to a one-year deadline for securing final approval, the applicant returned with a new proposal. The new plat aligns with the GrowOwasso 2035 land use master plan, which designates the area for future residential development.

The development will feature three access points: one connecting to the ongoing construction of the first phase of Presley Hollow, another linking to the Cornerstone Addition 3 subdivision, and a third planned for future phases of the development.
Utility services for the subdivision will be provided by Rogers County Rural Water District No. 3 for water and the City of Owasso for sanitary sewer. The planning commission's decision reflects a thorough evaluation of the proposal, ensuring it meets local subdivision regulations and community needs.
This approval marks a crucial advancement in Owasso's residential growth, contributing to the city's ongoing development efforts and enhancing housing options for residents. As the project progresses, the community can anticipate further developments in the Presley Hollow area, reinforcing Owasso's commitment to planned and sustainable growth.
