Hamilton Central High School Boys Varsity Soccer Team wins 2024 NYSPHSAA Class D Championship

On January 14, 2025, New York Senator Joseph Griffo introduced Senate Resolution No. 153, a commendation recognizing the Hamilton Central High School Boys Varsity Soccer Team for their remarkable achievement in winning the 2024 NYSPHSAA Soccer Class D Championship. The resolution celebrates the team's victory, which took place on November 16, 2024, when they triumphed over Northville with a decisive 3-0 score at Middletown High School.

The success of the team is attributed to the leadership of Head Coach Brian Rose, a former player on the school's inaugural soccer team and recipient of the CNY Coach of the Year Award. He was supported by Assistant Coaches Ryan Houck, Jeff Snyder, Sean Nevison, and Mike Jones, who played pivotal roles in developing the athletes' skills and fostering a spirit of camaraderie.
