This milestone was marked with a recent event and a month-long display at the Galleria, themed "50 Years of Loving Our Neighbors." The organization has provided over 8.7 million meals since its inception in 1975 and continues to expand its services, including housing support and nutritional programs.

In a significant development, the Stewpot has acquired the City Square campus for $7 million after City Square announced its closure. This acquisition is seen as a vital step in continuing to serve the community, as both organizations share a mission to assist those in poverty. The Stewpot plans to enhance its services at the new location, which is just 1.2 miles from its current site, and has already begun transitioning staff and operations.

The organization is currently in a capital campaign to raise additional funds, aiming to complete the campaign by summer 2025. They have already secured over $4 million, including a recent $500,000 donation from the Crowley Foundation. The Stewpot's budget has increased to $12.5 million to accommodate the expanded services and operational costs associated with the new campus.
