The city acknowledged the critical role Humanity Sharers plays in maintaining dignity and cleanliness for those in need, especially during the construction of the Wenand Creek Navigation Center. The provision of a shower trailer during this period was noted as a vital resource, allowing clients to enter the program with a fresh start.

Resident Jordan, who has been living in Vista since 2020, also spoke at the meeting, emphasizing the importance of empathy towards those living on the streets.
