Additionally, the city is advancing its long-term planning process, known as \"Elevate Olathe.\" This initiative aims to gather resident input through online surveys and public meetings scheduled over the coming weeks. The city manager emphasized the importance of community participation, noting that such planning occurs only once every 10 to 15 years.
