Additionally, the tenant will contribute to the local funding for a new taxi lane.

During discussions, concerns were raised about the necessity of utilizing the last available piece of grassland for hangar construction. Officials reassured attendees that there is still vacant land available for future development to the north and south of the airport. They emphasized that the airport layout plan, established in 2002, includes provisions for terminal expansion and additional parking.

The need for more hangar space was highlighted, particularly for accommodating small jet aircraft. Officials noted a nationwide deficit in hangar space, reinforcing the demand for the proposed construction. The meeting concluded with a unanimous vote in favor of the lease agreement, paving the way for the development of the new hangars.

In another agenda item, the planning commission recommended a rezoning petition for approximately 1.38 acres at Dutchman Drive and Rosewood Drive from single-family residential to neighborhood commercial, indicating ongoing development efforts in the area.
