Residents of Maryland are raising concerns over the placement of unauthorized \"no parking\" signs along Merlin Avenue, particularly near the Moose Lodge. A local truck driver highlighted the issue during a recent government meeting, explaining that the signs are obstructing semi-truck trailers from dropping off their loads on the east side of the avenue.

The driver noted that the area has limited space for parking trailers, with only a small strip available next to the railroad tracks. He expressed frustration over the lack of designated parking areas, stating that the current setup forces truck drivers to circle the area repeatedly in search of a place to park.

In an effort to address the situation, the driver collected the signs and returned them to the Moose Lodge property, accompanied by a note asserting that the signs were improperly placed on public land. He is now seeking guidance on how to resolve the issue, emphasizing that the signs lack proper identification and may not be legally enforceable.

The meeting also featured comments from another resident, Mike Pelpri, who discussed the process of gathering signatures for a local library initiative. He suggested that it might be more efficient for residents to collectively present their signatures rather than each individual gathering the required number.
