The committee unanimously agreed to implement $1,000 stipends for members of the Civil Service Employees Association (CSEA), aligning their compensation with other units following recent contract negotiations. This decision is set to take effect in the first or second pay period of the fiscal year beginning September 1.

The committee decided to abolish one of the vacant Finance Clerk 1 positions while leaving another unfunded for the upcoming year.
In a collaborative effort to enhance mental health services, the committee approved a contract with Carmel Mine to develop an online customizable wellness platform. This initiative is a joint venture involving mental health, public health, and the Office for the Aging, with funding sourced from the opioid reserve.
Lastly, a contract with the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) was authorized to establish a pre-doctoral internship program aimed at addressing the shortage of frontline mental health clinicians. This program will allow doctoral students to gain clinical experience under supervision, with funding partially covered by opioid reserve money.
