During a recent government meeting, members of the Key Club shared their experiences from the International Convention held in Atlanta, Georgia, highlighting the event's significance and the impact it had on attendees. The convention brought together nearly 1,000 participants from various regions, including the Philippines and Jamaica, fostering a sense of community among young volunteers dedicated to service.

Attendees engaged in workshops, networking, and discussions about community service, which they found motivational and inspiring. The convention included a tour of notable Atlanta attractions such as the World of Coca-Cola, the Georgia Aquarium, and the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial, where participants experienced a powerful simulation of civil rights protests.

Key Club members also participated in a service project, creating blankets from plastic bags to donate to homeless individuals in Atlanta, emphasizing the organization's commitment to community service. The convention concluded with awards recognizing outstanding contributions, including the Diamond Distinguished Award for impactful service projects.

The newly elected international president, David Rubina, from Arizona, was introduced, marking a significant moment for the local Key Club community.
