The cleanup will include basic maintenance tasks and the planting of trees, with hopes of attracting at least 28 participants, particularly youth.

Brandon, another meeting participant, discussed the need for sandblasting to address the thick paint on the skate park, which has hindered its usability. He is currently seeking multiple bids for the sandblasting work, with a budget cap of $5,000. The youth coalition has allocated funds for the project, which must be utilized by the end of the month.

Additionally, members of the Woodby Island Roller Derby expressed interest in participating in the cleanup, further demonstrating community support for the initiative. The meeting concluded with a call for any additional comments or questions regarding the project.
