The center offered over 1,000 programs throughout the year, drawing approximately 34,000 participants, not including casual visitors.

A significant aspect of the center's operations was its meal service, providing 18,633 meals, and the dedication of its volunteers, who contributed around 3,000 hours of service. The center boasts nearly 65 regular volunteers, many of whom are members themselves.

New initiatives introduced this year included a caregiver support group called Stepping Stones, aimed at assisting those caring for individuals with dementia. This program has seen participation from about 30 families, providing a supportive community while their loved ones engage in activities with an occupational therapist.

The center also partnered with the Denton County Sheriff's Department for educational talks and community engagement activities, including a weekly poker game. Other notable programs included \"Around the World in 12 Months,\" which allowed members to share travel experiences, and a volunteer fair that connected local nonprofits with potential volunteers.

Other engaging activities included a high tea and spring fashion show fundraiser, a classic car show featuring member-owned vehicles, and a National Selfie Day event that fostered intergenerational connections between seniors and local high school students.

The center's accomplishments were recognized with national accreditation from the National Institute of Senior Centers, underscoring its commitment to serving the community effectively.
