The council expressed support for the proposal, noting its potential to transform the building's appearance and add a creative touch to the area.

Council members raised questions regarding the quality and final approval of the murals once completed. Knapp assured them that a sign permit is required for the murals, allowing for oversight to ensure they meet the approved designs. The council also discussed the relationship between the murals and the business's existing logo, with staff confirming that while the designs may share thematic elements, they do not directly advertise the business.

Following this discussion, the meeting moved on to consider a developer participation agreement for public improvements at Addison Airport, with a proposed city contribution of up to $1.175 million.
