For the first time, the league's ten U, eleven U, and twelve U All-Star teams clinched the District 62 championship, a feat that drew enthusiastic praise from Mayor Stevens and other attendees.

He noted the impressive performance of the twelve U team, which secured a victory over a previously dominant Ocean View team with a dramatic walk-off home run. The mayor also acknowledged the major Dodgers, who triumphed in the District 62 Tournament of Champions, finishing the season with only one loss.
Brian Clark, president of Costa Mesa Little League, took the floor to express gratitude to the community, volunteers, and parents who supported the league throughout the season.
