Although the team did not win the national title, their accomplishment marks the sixth state championship for the district since 2009, with a notable second-place finish in 2017. The team members recognized for their efforts included Lucas Brown, Arele Jacobo, Lawrence Sikma, and Dana Tomasovic.

Following the celebration of this achievement, the meeting transitioned to the public participation segment, where community members were invited to address the board.
