Cooper Properties, LLC has submitted a request to amend zoning regulations for a 31.05-acre site located at the southeastern corner of Sholo Lake Road and White Mountain Boulevard. The proposal seeks to transition the area from Arlo Rural Residential to Light Commercial and Planned Unit Development (PUD), which would allow for the construction of a shopping center, hotel, and townhomes.

The development plan includes a gated townhome community spanning approximately 19.2 acres, alongside commercial spaces that will feature retail outlets and a marketplace. This initiative aligns with the town's strategic goals of strengthening and diversifying the economic base, as outlined in the 2015 General Plan.
