During a recent session of the Pardon Advisory Board, discussions centered on the applications for pardons from individuals seeking to clear their criminal records. The meeting, which was live-streamed, featured testimonies from applicants, including Jason Familetti, who shared his journey of remorse and rehabilitation following a felony conviction for breaking and entering at the age of 17.

Familetti expressed regret over his past actions, emphasizing the long-lasting impact of his criminal record on various aspects of his life, including employment opportunities and civic participation. He articulated a desire to have his record expunged to regain rights such as voting and hunting, which he hopes to share with his daughter in the future.
