DA King noted a significant increase in the diversity of victims seeking assistance, with a marked rise in the use of language interpretation services. In August alone, the DA's office recorded 116 interpreter calls, doubling the usual monthly rate. This surge reflects the changing demographics of the community, with victims speaking languages such as Dari, Swahili, and Arabic, in addition to Spanish. King stressed the importance of effective communication in ensuring that all victims receive the support they need, despite the challenges posed by language barriers.
