Attendance at this year's fair reached over 21,000 visitors on Saturday, despite the ongoing challenges posed by the Alexander Mountain fire and extreme heat conditions. The fair, which precedes the rodeo starting Sunday, showcased a strong community spirit, with attendees expressing appreciation for the event's continuation during tough times.

A highlight of the fair was the junior livestock sale, which raised over $1.1 million, marking a significant increase from last year's total of $922,000. This surge in fundraising underscores the fair's role as a vital community asset, providing support and engagement whether the community is thriving or facing difficulties.

Additionally, recognition was given to the Larimer County Sheriff's Posse, who played a crucial role in ensuring safety and security throughout the fair.
