A vibrant vendor fair is set to take place in Weldon Village, anticipated to be the largest yet, with expectations of over 500 attendees. The event, scheduled from 1 PM to 5 PM, will feature live music starting at 2:45 PM, with hopes for favorable weather. Milt Rhodes, a key organizer, encouraged community participation and offered to address any questions regarding the fair.
In addition to the fair, discussions were held regarding the installation of a new entrance sign for Cardinalsville. Mr. Swisher reported that Rhodes had proposed a location for the sign, which would be positioned between two prominent trees near Bunker Hill Church. The board will conduct further evaluations before finalizing the placement of the sign to ensure visibility for travelers coming from High Point.
The meeting underscored the community's growth and engagement, reflecting on the progress since 2013, as well as ongoing efforts to enhance local visibility and connectivity.
