City Council Approves Major Park Expansion Plans

During a recent city council meeting, officials expressed concerns regarding the capacity of local parks, particularly highlighting the wave pool's popularity as a significant draw for visitors. Council members noted that last year, the park reached maximum capacity on numerous occasions, indicating a need for expanded amenities.
