The resident specifically mentioned a situation where a promised conservatory behind homes has been compromised, as more land was cleared than initially communicated. They urged that all homeowners in the affected area receive formal notification to voice their opinions before any further actions are taken.

In response, Mayor Clyde acknowledged the concerns raised and took the opportunity to congratulate newly promoted and hired officers, emphasizing their commitment to serving the community with courage and dignity. He also announced the completion of a community-wide survey, which is currently under review and will be presented to the council on October 9th.

The Mayor proposed the formation of several village committees focused on various community interests, including parks, sustainability, arts and culture, and economic development. He noted that a list of interested residents has been compiled for a formation meeting to discuss these initiatives further.
