This initiative includes a local matching expenditure not exceeding $9,207, with the city manager and other officials tasked with executing the agreement and ensuring compliance with legal requirements.

Commissioners expressed gratitude for the ongoing improvements at the airport, highlighting the successful National Advanced Air Mobility Industry Forum held recently, which attracted participants from across the globe to discuss advancements in air mobility technologies. The meeting also saw the approval of a contract with Grow America for grant administration services, aimed at optimizing the city's management of federal funding programs. This partnership is expected to bolster compliance with evolving HUD requirements and improve the efficiency of fund distribution within the community.

In other business, the commission consented to the appointment of Pamela Tolliver to the Human Relations Board, reflecting the city's commitment to community engagement and representation.
