A South Russell resident and respected landscape architect, Craig, passed away recently, with his funeral scheduled for Thursday at 4 PM at the Federal Church. Known for his expertise in water control, Craig operated his business from an office on East Washington, strategically located across from Panini's.
His work included significant projects for prominent institutions such as the Cleveland Clinic and University Hospital, with notable contributions visible at the main campus of the clinic and along East Washington. Craig was particularly recognized for his innovative landscaping designs, including the layout of Kensington Pond and its surrounding hills.
After closing his office and selling his business, Craig transitioned to a role with CT. Colleagues and friends remember him fondly, highlighting his willingness to offer free advice and support, often meeting over meals to discuss blueprints and proposals. His legacy in landscape architecture and community engagement will be missed.
