The Torrington Police Department held a long-awaited award ceremony to honor the dedication and bravery of its officers, a gathering that had been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and other unforeseen circumstances. Police Chief and Deputy Chief Barb Perron expressed their pride in recognizing the remarkable achievements of the department's members, emphasizing the critical role these officers play in ensuring community safety.

During the ceremony, Chief Perron highlighted the immense challenges faced by police officers daily, noting their commitment to service, integrity, and courage.
